Frequently asked questions
What travel companies ask us before they start: price, timelines, who owns what, support, accessibility and security.
Prices and Diagnosis
With a free 20-minute call. You get an honest answer on whether we are the right fit and a price range for your project. If it makes sense, the next step is the Diagnosis.
Starting prices: a tour operator system from $11,900, a host agency advisor portal from $17,900, a travel startup MVP from $14,900, a boutique hotel website from $2,400 and travel branding from $1,400. The final price is fixed per phase after the Diagnosis, so you know what each phase costs before we build it. Prices exclude applicable taxes.
See all pricesThe Diagnosis is the paid step after the free intro call: two online workshops of 90 minutes each, followed by a written scope, architecture and phase prices delivered within 10 business days of payment. The documents stay with you, even if you build elsewhere.
Yes. The fee is deducted from the first phase if you sign the contract within 60 days. After the first workshop the fee is not refundable.
Timelines
A website usually takes 3 to 6 weeks. The timeline also depends on how fast you can provide content and approvals. Booking systems and portals are planned phase by phase in the Diagnosis.
We usually reply within 1 business day.
Ownership
You own your data, database, content and the code built specifically for you. The Aviobyte core and reusable components stay with Aviobyte, and you receive a perpetual license to use them in your system.
Support, time zone and working remotely
Support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM–1 PM ET (3–7 PM CET), by email and ticket. Workshops and calls are scheduled in the overlap that suits you. Everything is documented in writing.
You can add the Seasonal SLA, a monthly support add-on. In season (May to October) we respond to a critical incident within 4 business hours, outside the season within 1 business day, and to other incidents within 2 business days. The plan includes 2 hours of changes per month. Failures of third-party systems are not covered.
Accessibility and security
Yes. Every website and booking flow is built to WCAG 2.2 AA, so travelers who use a keyboard or a screen reader can book too. At handover you get an accessibility report for your records.
Hosting and the database are on our own server in the EU (Hetzner), backups are daily and stored off the server, and card data never touches our servers because payments go through a certified payment processor. We offer our own DPA and will review yours, and we report an incident to you within 72 hours. We do not hold security certifications; the Security & data page lists exactly what we do. Report security issues to security@aviobyte.com.
Who we build for
We build for the whole travel industry: OTAs and travel startups, tour operators and DMCs, host agencies, hotels and vacation rentals, of any size and in any market. B2C or B2B, static or dynamic packages, one supplier or many: the system follows your rules. The free call tells you honestly whether we are the right fit.
Yes. You can watch working systems for each kind of travel business and try them live, from AI trip planning to an advisor portal with commissions, and an AI assistant running live on a travel site.
